Jordgubbar (6-9 år, nybörjare)

Jordgubbar är för barn mellan 6-9 år som är nybörjare i svenska språket. Målsättningen för denna grupp är att lära sig att uttrycka sig på svenska samt att lära sig om Sverige. Eleverna får övning i att läsa, skriva och uttrycka sig muntligt på svenska. Berättelser, sånger, pedagogiska lekar och spel samt text och arbetsböcker ingår som undervisningsmaterial. En viktig del är också att lära sig om svenska traditioner och högtider.

Hej!
Jag heter Ulrika Ballard och bor i Castle Rock.
De flesta av er känner mig sedan tidigare. Jag har tidigare undervisat i Hallon gruppen, som en assistent. Jag fick frågan om att undervisa en klass tyckte jag att det vore en rolig utmaning. Jag har själv två pojkar som går på Svenska skolan; Logan som är nio år och Markus som är sju år.

LEKTION 2 Den 22 Januari, 2012. 

Hej Jordgubbar!

We started our day with our vokal song A E I O U Y Å Ä Ö. This is a song that will help out with the different sounds in our alphabet.

We went over show and tell and it was fun. We all so talked about our body/kroppen. Did a game about the different parts of our body.

We got a new red folder and this is the folder that we are going to work in and please make sure to bring it every time to school.

We started to learn about Å Ä Ö and different words that have these letters in them.

I decided to split the class into two groups this year.  It will be fun no worries!

Group 1:

Gabriella, Erik, Annika, Emelie, Lena, Emma, Sophia.

Group2:

Dean, Maya, Kate, Erin, Ryan, Erik, Isak.

Home Work/ Läxa till den 5 Febuari.

Group 1: please practice all the words  with  Å Ä Ö and write a Swedish sentence using each word.

In the red folder you have lined paper use them for your sentence, so I can see your work every time.

Group 2: please practice all the words with Å Ä Ö and write them on the lined paper in your folder.

I all so would like for you to practice on counting 1-10 in Swedish and look at the spelling too.

Lektion 1 den 8 Januari, 2012.

Hej Jordgubbar!

First I would like to say what a fun class we have!
We have a big class this year. I am so excited to have all of you in my class. Because we are a bigger class we are going to switch our class room, from class room nr 10 to class room nr 3.
I will allso send out a email as a reminder. I look forward seeing you in two weeks!

We learned today about how to introduce our selfs and get to know our friends a little. 
We talked about the human body and learned some new words and got to play a game "hang man"/hanga gubben.
I am going to have diffrent work books in this class, due to so many diffrent levals.
I will do my best to make sure we have fun this year too.

My goal is that you will be able to communicate in Swedish and learn some classic Swedish songs too. If you like to bring in a book that you might have at home in Swedish or a special item, please do.

We will have a show and tell starting next Sunday. Here is the schedule:

- I would like for you all to practise the words from your picture that we did, about KROPPEN. 
MUN, NASA, TUNGA, ARM, BEN, HAR, OGA, ORA, FOT, BEN.

- Make a story about your Winter Break and color a picture. If you can not do it in Swedish it is OK!
(I would like that Annika, Gabriella, Erik, Lena, Sophia write it in Swedish)

- Please continue in your work book, Sprakgodis.

- Would like for you to read the Palle books too.

- Isak and Emma please bring Show and Tell/Visa och beratta.

Make sure you have a coat, we will always go outside!
